Careers education, guidance and work experience is an important curricular area within the whole school environment. It is our aim to ensure that all pupils receive a programme of guidance that will prepare them for further education, training, employment and life as an adult member of society.

Work Experience

At Brynllywarch Hall School, we believe work experience placements are an important part of ensuring our learners develop into:

In key stages 4 and 5, learners start to explore career options based around their own future aspirations and interests.  During this time learners are fully supported and able to access further information regarding their next steps, whether it is post-16 provision in school, college, employment or an apprenticeship. An important part of this is ensuring our learners have the necessary skill development and experience in their area of interest through accessing work experience placements.
