Literacy

At Brynllywarch, we understand the importance of literacy for a learner’s personal and social development, and to enable them to access all areas of their learning.

Literacy is embedded throughout the curriculum and learners have opportunities for offsite educational trips such as the Hay Festival Scribblers Tour.

To ensure all learners can develop their literacy skills, academic interventions are timetabled on a daily basis. Learners also have access to stimulating reading materials that are suited to all ability levels and interests.
