Academic Interventions

We offer a comprehensive range of academic interventions to ensure that every learner at Brynllywarch can make progress and reach their full potential. These interventions are reviewed on a half-termly basis, with pupil data used to inform provision as part of our ‘assess, plan, do, review’ cycle.

Our academic interventions include: Rapid Reading, Fiction Express, Catch-Up Literacy, Phonics/Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation (SPAG) sessions, reading boxes, International Dyslexia Learning (IDL), precision teaching, the Kelly and Phillips literacy intervention, Times Tables Rock Stars, the 99 Club, Plus 1/Power of 2 maths interventions, Rapid Maths, MeLSA and Catch-Up Maths.
