Stand Up Paddleboard staff training

(On top we have Mr J Jones and to the right, we have Mr S Smith. Both are pictured with their instructor Miss Caroline Carr.)

On Sunday the 11th of June at Bethania Adventure Water sports boat house on Lake Vyrnwy, Mr S Smith and Mr J Jones completed the British Canoeing, Stand Up Paddleboard,(SUP), support module. This course allows both members of the Brynllywarch Hall School staff, to coach introductory lessons in SUP. The SUP is an easy to learn activity, which can lead to progression into other water sports which are already on offer at our school. SUPing able to reduce stress and have positive psychological effects, it is a great way to keep fit and have lots of fun in the water. With a little more training and practice, the school hopes to be able to offer SUPing as a possible activity for our pupils.

Well done guys on successfully completing the course!
